In order to find success a novice writer re-invents the simple life of his neighbours and turns them into murderers, traitors and losers. Soon his imagination runs riot and he cannot distinguish between reality and fiction anymore, which results in ultimate chaos.

The film embarks on a search for the Laubenpieper – a typical German allotment holder – and finds an old fashioned garden culture settled somewhere between dusted GDR structures and the new artist elite of Berlin.

LUST Step is an interactive multiscreen documentary telling the story of Herman and Sylvias internal journey from New Orleans to Grand Canyon. The film is formed as an interactive labyrinth experimenting with storytelling-structure as well as focusing on the perception of the viewer. Lust is realized as an installation built upon text, sound and video from all phases of the project.

Through the eyes and the work of five artists from Greenland, the film is going on a journey home, to the cultural roots of this amazing country and island.

Silke loves Dave (Names changed). But Silke lives in a small Austrian village and Dave is in the United States - and he is on death row fighting for his freedom.
This personal film follows Silke on one of her hard-earned trips from her village to the Union Correctional Institution in the U.S. where she visits him again...

This topic is down and dirty but it’s even more surprising to see how much money can be made from it, how much social value is attached to it – and how trash makes us human again.
